About Me

I have a Ph.D. and am a registered Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 25 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of people with mental health concerns.   I have worked in mental health and forensic mental health in Australia and the UK and held Senior Lectureship positions at Monash University and Swinburne University.  I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society and the Clinical and Forensic Colleges.

I am committed to supporting people to make positive changes  in their life, enhance their mental health and well-being, manage difficult transition points and adjustments, and live a fulfilling and meaningful life in accordance with their values.  I understand that every person is unique, with unique strengths, challenges, hopes and goals for their future.  I respect the uniqueness of each individual by tailoring evidence-based practice to meet needs in a supportive and caring way.  I will work collaboratively with you and provide you with a high quality psychological service.

In terms of providing an evidence-based psychological service, my main approaches are:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques
